This button set celebrates Dr. Bob Bailey, the chickens that became such an important part of his teaching, and a remarkable chapter in the history of modern animal training.
For decades, chickens have helped teach trainers to observe more carefully, improve their timing, sharpen their mechanics, and become better problem-solvers. Bob carried that work forward from Keller and Marian Breland and, years later, became my mentor and passed much of that knowledge on to me.
Today, I’m doing my best to keep those lessons—and that history—alive for the next generation of animal trainers.
